Human Alpha-Synuclein/SNCA Recombinant Protein
Alpha-Synuclein (SNCA) is a member of the Synuclein family. SNCA is expressed in the brain and other tissues, albeit at lower levels. UCHL1; Phospholipase D and histones interact with SNCA. Beta- and gamma-synuclein are two forms of SNCA. SNCA is also a key regulator of vesicular transport in neurons. It has been postulated that SNCA is involved in the development of Parkinson's Disease and other neurodegenerative diseases. Dementia Lewy Body (DLB) can be caused by SNCA abnormalities. Human Alpha-Synuclein/SNCA Recombinant Protein is a highly pure recombinant protein developed by Assay Genie for use in a range of applications.
