The RBM45 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB13843) is a valuable tool for researchers studying RBM45, a RNA-binding protein involved in various cellular processes. This antibody, generated in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity towards RBM45 in human samples, making it ideal for Western blot applications. By targeting the RBM45 protein, this antibody enables accurate detection and analysis in different cell types, facilitating investigations in fields such as molecular biology and cancer research.
RBM45 is known for its role in RNA metabolism and post-transcriptional regulation, making it a key player in gene expression control and cellular function. Dysregulation of RBM45 has been linked to various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, highlighting its importance as a potential therapeutic target. By studying the function of RBM45, researchers can gain insights into disease mechanisms and potentially uncover novel treatment strategies for these conditions.

Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-300 of human RBM45 (NP_694453.2).
This gene encodes a member of the RNA recognition motif (RRM)-type RNA-binding family of proteins. This protein exhibits preferential binding to poly(C) RNA. Initial cloning of this gene found that the rat ortholog was dynamically expressed in the developing rat brain. This protein has been localized to inclusion bodies in the brain and spinal cord of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and Alzheimer's patients. A pseudogene has been identified on chromosome 8.
