The RBBP5 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB6965) is a valuable tool for researchers studying RBBP5, a key protein involved in chromatin remodeling and gene regulation. This antibody, specifically raised in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and has been validated for use in Western blotting applications.RBBP5, also known as Retinoblastoma-binding protein 5, plays a crucial role in epigenetic regulation by interacting with histone methyltransferases. Understanding the function of RBBP5 is essential for unraveling the mechanisms of gene expression and chromatin dynamics in various cellular processes.
The RBBP5 Polyclonal Antibody allows for sensitive detection and analysis of RBBP5 protein levels in different cell types, making it a valuable tool for studies in molecular biology, epigenetics, and cancer research. By targeting RBBP5, researchers can gain insights into the role of chromatin remodeling in development, disease progression, and potential therapeutic interventions.
Product Name:
RBBP5 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB6965
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit

Human,Mouse,Rat
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 319-538 of human RBBP5 (NP_005048.2).
This gene encodes a ubiquitously expressed nuclear protein which belongs to a highly conserved subfamily of WD-repeat proteins. The encoded protein binds directly to retinoblastoma protein, which regulates cell proliferation. It interacts preferentially with the underphosphorylated retinoblastoma protein via the E1A-binding pocket B. Three alternatively spliced transcript variants that encode different protein isoforms have been described for this gene.
