Rat Uncoupling Protein 1, Mitochondrial (UCP1) ELISA Kit
The Rat Uncoupling Protein 1 (UCP1) Mitochondrial ELISA Kit is specifically designed for the accurate measurement of UCP1 levels in rat samples such as serum, plasma, and tissue lysates. This kit provides a high level of sensitivity and specificity, ensuring precise and reproducible results for a variety of research purposes.UCP1 is a key protein involved in regulating thermogenesis and energy expenditure in brown adipose tissue. It is known to be involved in the process of uncoupling oxidative phosphorylation from ATP synthesis, making it a crucial player in metabolic processes and potential therapeutic targets for obesity and metabolic disorders.
By accurately measuring UCP1 levels, researchers can gain valuable insights into the role of this protein in energy regulation and metabolic diseases, advancing our understanding of these conditions and potentially identifying new treatment options.

Intra-assay Precision:
Intra-Assay: CV <10%. 3 samples with low, middle and high level the index were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively.
Inter-assay Precision:
Inter-Assay: CV <12%. 3 samples with low, middle and high level the index were tested on 3 different plates, 8 replicates in each plate.
Stability:
The stability of ELISA kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage conditions. Note: To minimize unnecessary influences on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity and incubator temperatures should be strictly regulated. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same experimenter from the beginning to the end.
