Rat sCD14 (Soluble Cluster of Differentiation 14) CLIA Kit
The Rat sCD14 (Soluble Cluster of Differentiation 14) CLIA Kit is specifically designed for the quantitative measurement of soluble CD14 levels in rat serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit offers exceptional accuracy and precision, ensuring reliable and consistent results for various research applications.CD14 is a key molecule involved in the immune response, acting as a co-receptor for bacterial lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and facilitating the recognition of pathogens by the immune system.
Elevated levels of soluble CD14 have been linked to inflammatory conditions, sepsis, and other immune-related disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these diseases and exploring potential therapeutic interventions. With its high sensitivity and specificity, the Rat sCD14 CLIA Kit provides researchers with a powerful tool for investigating the role of soluble CD14 in health and disease, ultimately advancing our understanding of immune function and pathology in rat models.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat sCD14. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat sCD14 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat sCD14, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Rat sCD14. You can calculate the concentration of Rat sCD14 in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
