The Rat SAP (Serum Amyloid P Component) ELISA Kit is a specialized assay designed to quantitatively measure the levels of Serum Amyloid P Component in various rat biological samples. Serum Amyloid P Component is a pentameric protein that plays a crucial role in the regulation of inflammation and tissue repair. Its interactions with amyloid fibrils and extracellular matrix components contribute to the modulation of immune responses and tissue homeostasis. This ELISA kit enables researchers to accurately assess the levels of Serum Amyloid P Component, shedding light on its involvement in inflammatory processes, amyloidosis, and other pathological conditions.
By studying the dynamics of Serum Amyloid P Component expression, researchers can gain valuable insights into its role in immune regulation, tissue remodeling, and disease pathogenesis. The Rat SAP ELISA Kit offers exceptional sensitivity and specificity, ensuring precise and reproducible results in experimental settings. Manufactified under strict quality control standards, this kit delivers reliable performance and ease of use, making it an ideal tool for investigating the functions and therapeutic implications of Serum Amyloid P Component in rat models.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat SAP. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat SAP and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat SAP, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Rat SAP. You can calculate the concentration of Rat SAP in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
