Description
Rat PAI1 (Plasminogen Activator Inhibitor 1) ELISA Kit
The Rat Plasminogen Activator Inhibitor 1 (PAI-1) ELISA Kit is a specialized assay designed for the quantitative measurement of PAI-1 levels in rat biological samples.
PAI-1, as a critical regulator of the fibrinolytic system, plays a key role in inhibiting tissue plasminogen activators and regulating the breakdown of blood clots. Monitoring PAI-1 levels provides valuable insights into fibrinolysis, clotting disorders, and various pathophysiological conditions associated with thrombosis and hemostasis. This ELISA kit offers researchers a reliable and accurate method to quantify PAI-1 concentrations, enabling investigations into the dynamics of the fibrinolytic system, coagulation cascades, and thrombotic events in rat models. By precisely measuring PAI-1 levels, researchers can better understand fibrinolytic processes, clot formation, and the underlying mechanisms of thrombotic diseases. Manufactured with stringent quality control standards, the Rat PAI-1 ELISA Kit ensures exceptional sensitivity and specificity, allowing for reproducible and reliable results. This kit provides robust performance and ease of use, making it an excellent choice for research studies focused on fibrinolysis, coagulation disorders, thrombosis, and other related fields in rat models.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat PAI1. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat PAI1 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat PAI1, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Rat PAI1. You can calculate the concentration of Rat PAI1 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
