The Rat OPG (Osteoprotegerin) ELISA Kit is an advanced assay system that enables precise and quantitative analysis of Osteoprotegerin levels in a wide range of biological samples obtained from rat models. Osteoprotegerin, a key regulatory protein in bone metabolism and cardiovascular health, serves as a critical modulator of bone resorption, vascular calcification, and inflammation. By accurately measuring Osteoprotegerin concentrations, this ELISA kit offers valuable insights into bone homeostasis, vascular health, and inflammatory processes in rat subjects. Accurate quantification of Osteoprotegerin levels is essential for studying the intricate interplay between bone biology, cardiovascular function, and inflammatory responses.
The Rat OPG ELISA Kit empowers researchers to explore the role of Osteoprotegerin in bone remodeling, vascular health, and inflammatory diseases, providing a deeper understanding of the underlying mechanisms and potential therapeutic targets. Crafted with a focus on accuracy and reliability, the Rat OPG ELISA Kit delivers exceptional sensitivity and specificity, ensuring consistent and reproducible results. Researchers can rely on this kit to generate reliable data, facilitating in-depth investigations into the physiological and pathological functions of Osteoprotegerin in rat models.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat OPG. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat OPG and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat OPG, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Rat OPG. You can calculate the concentration of Rat OPG in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
