Rat NOS2/iNOS (Nitric Oxide Synthase 2, Inducible) ELISA Kit
The Rat NOS2/iNOS (Nitric Oxide Synthase 2, Inducible) ELISA Kit is a cutting-edge tool designed to quantitatively measure the levels of Nitric Oxide Synthase 2, also known as Inducible Nitric Oxide Synthase (iNOS), in various biological samples.
iNOS is a significant enzyme that plays a crucial role in the production of nitric oxide, a key signaling molecule involved in a wide range of physiological and pathophysiological processes. Accurate measurement of iNOS levels is essential for understanding its involvement in immune responses, inflammation, and diseases where nitric oxide signaling is implicated. The Rat NOS2/iNOS ELISA Kit by Assay Genie offers exceptional sensitivity and specificity, ensuring precise and reproducible results. Manufactured under strict quality control standards, this ELISA kit provides reliable performance and user-friendly protocols, making it an excellent choice for research focusing on nitric oxide signaling pathways and related mechanisms.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat NOS2/iNOS. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat NOS2/iNOS and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat NOS2/iNOS, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Rat NOS2/iNOS. You can calculate the concentration of Rat NOS2/iNOS in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
