Description
Rat MCP-3 (Monocyte Chemotactic Protein 3) ELISA Kit
The Rat MCP-3 (Monocyte Chemotactic Protein 3) ELISA Kit is a specialized assay designed for the quantitative analysis of MCP-3 levels in various rat biological samples. MCP-3, also known as CCL7, is a chemokine involved in immune cell recruitment, particularly in the attraction of monocytes and lymphocytes to sites of inflammation.
It regulates the migration and activation of these immune cells, contributing to the body's immune response and inflammatory processes. This ELISA kit offers researchers a reliable method to measure and quantify MCP-3 levels in rat samples. By accurately detecting MCP-3, researchers can gain valuable insights into immune cell behaviors, inflammatory responses, and pathological conditions where MCP-3 plays a role. The Rat MCP-3 ELISA Kit provides high sensitivity and specificity, ensuring robust and reproducible results. With its stringent quality control standards, this kit is optimized for performance and ease of use, making it an excellent choice for research applications focused on immune cell recruitment and inflammation regulation in rat models.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat MCP-3. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat MCP-3 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat MCP-3, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Rat MCP-3. You can calculate the concentration of Rat MCP-3 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
Precision
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): 3 samples with low, mid range and high level Rat MCP-3 were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, mid range and high level Rat MCP-3 were tested on 3 different plates, 20 replicates in each plate.
