Description
Rat IL-7 ELISA Kit
The Rat IL-7 ELISA Kit is meticulously crafted for the precise and quantitative measurement of Interleukin-7 (IL-7) levels in a variety of rat biological samples. IL-7 is a pivotal signaling molecule essential for lymphoid development, playing a critical role in lymphocyte maturation, proliferation, and survival. This cytokine is a key regulator of immune system function, influencing T-cell homeostasis and supporting immune responses. Accurate quantification of IL-7 levels is crucial for comprehending its impact on immune cell development and function, providing valuable insights into immune-related disorders and therapeutic strategies.
Assay Genie's Rat IL-7 ELISA Kit exemplifies outstanding sensitivity and specificity, ensuring the delivery of precise and reproducible results. With a focus on quality and performance, this kit is manufactured under rigorous quality control measures, guaranteeing reliable and robust data. The user-friendly design of this ELISA kit further enhances its convenience, making it an ideal choice for researchers investigating the intricate roles of IL-7 in immune regulation and disease pathogenesis.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat IL-7. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat IL-7 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat IL-7, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Rat IL-7. You can calculate the concentration of Rat IL-7 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
Precision
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): 3 samples with low, mid range and high level Rat IL-7 were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, mid range and high level Rat IL-7 were tested on 3 different plates, 20 replicates in each plate.
