Description
Rat HSP47 (Heat Shock Protein 47) ELISA Kit
The Rat HSP47 (Heat Shock Protein 47) ELISA Kit is a state-of-the-art assay designed to quantitatively measure the levels of Heat Shock Protein 47 in various rat biological samples.
HSP47, a vital member of the heat shock protein family, plays a crucial role in protein folding and collagen biosynthesis within the extracellular matrix. This specialized chaperone assists in the proper folding and assembly of collagen molecules, contributing to the maintenance of tissue structure, integrity, and function. By accurately quantifying HSP47 levels, researchers can gain valuable insights into the protein's involvement in collagen processing, tissue development, and extracellular matrix remodeling. Understanding the regulatory role of HSP47 in collagen maturation is essential for elucidating its significance in physiological processes such as wound healing, tissue repair, and fibrosis, as well as its potential implications in various pathologies like fibrotic diseases. The Rat HSP47 ELISA Kit offers exceptional sensitivity and specificity, ensuring precise and reproducible results for researchers studying the intricate mechanisms of collagen maturation and extracellular matrix dynamics. With its robust performance and user-friendly design, this kit provides a reliable tool for investigating the functional relevance of HSP47 in cellular physiology and disease pathology, making it an invaluable resource for cutting-edge research studies.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat HSP47. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat HSP47 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat HSP47, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Rat HSP47. You can calculate the concentration of Rat HSP47 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
