The Rat HPX (Hemopexin) ELISA Kit is expertly crafted to facilitate the precise quantification of Hemopexin levels in a variety of rat biological samples. Hemopexin is a pivotal protein known for its role in scavenging free heme released during hemolysis, thereby aiding in iron recycling and maintaining iron homeostasis. By measuring Hemopexin levels accurately, researchers can gain valuable insights into iron metabolism, heme detoxification, and the body's response to hemolytic processes. This ELISA kit provides researchers with a targeted tool to investigate the dynamics of Hemopexin in biological systems. The quantitative data obtained from this assay can illuminate the molecular mechanisms underlying hemopexin's functions, including its regulation of heme levels and the implications for iron balance in the body.
Equipped with exceptional sensitivity and specificity, the Rat HPX ELISA Kit ensures precise and reproducible results, enabling researchers to delve deeper into the role of Hemopexin in iron metabolism and related physiological processes. Manufactured under stringent quality control measures, this kit guarantees reliable performance and ease of use, making it an ideal choice for researchers exploring the intricate interplay between Hemopexin and iron homeostasis in biological systems.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat HPX. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat HPX and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat HPX, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Rat HPX. You can calculate the concentration of Rat HPX in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
