Rat HIF-1α (Hypoxia Inducible Factor 1 Alpha) ELISA Kit
The Rat HIF-1α (Hypoxia Inducible Factor 1 Alpha) ELISA Kit is a specialized assay designed to quantitatively measure the levels of HIF-1α in various biological samples. Hypoxia Inducible Factor 1 Alpha (HIF-1α) is a key transcription factor that plays a central role in cellular responses to low oxygen levels (hypoxia). It regulates the expression of genes involved in crucial physiological processes such as angiogenesis, erythropoiesis, glycolysis, and cell survival under hypoxic conditions.
Accurate measurement of HIF-1α levels is vital for understanding the cellular adaptation to hypoxia and the molecular mechanisms underlying oxygen homeostasis. The Rat HIF-1α ELISA Kit offered by Assay Genie provides exceptional sensitivity and specificity, ensuring precise and reproducible results. Manufactured under strict quality control measures, this kit delivers reliable performance, making it an excellent choice for researchers studying the impact of hypoxia on cellular function and disease pathways.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat HIF-1α. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat HIF-1α and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat HIF-1α, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Rat HIF-1α. You can calculate the concentration of Rat HIF-1α in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
