The Rat Heme Oxygenase 2 (Decycling) (HO-2) ELISA Kit offered by Assay Genie is designed for the precise quantification of HO-2 levels in rat samples including serum, plasma, and tissue homogenates. This kit boasts exceptional sensitivity and specificity, ensuring dependable and consistent results for various research applications.Heme oxygenase 2 (HO-2) is a critical enzyme involved in heme catabolism, playing a key role in cellular antioxidant defense and regulation of heme levels. Dysregulation of HO-2 has been linked to various diseases such as neurodegenerative disorders, cardiovascular diseases, and inflammatory conditions, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these pathologies and developing potential therapeutic interventions.
With the Rat Heme Oxygenase 2 (Decycling) (HO-2) ELISA Kit, researchers can confidently explore the role of HO-2 in health and disease, advancing our understanding of these complex conditions and potentially uncovering new treatment strategies.

Intra-assay Precision:
Intra-Assay: CV <10%. 3 samples with low, middle and high level the index were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively.
Inter-assay Precision:
Inter-Assay: CV <12%. 3 samples with low, middle and high level the index were tested on 3 different plates, 8 replicates in each plate.
Stability:
The stability of ELISA kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage conditions. Note: To minimize unnecessary influences on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity and incubator temperatures should be strictly regulated. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same experimenter from the beginning to the end.
