Description
Rat GzmB (Granzyme B) ELISA Kit
The Rat GzmB (Granzyme B) ELISA Kit is meticulously crafted to enable the precise quantification of Granzyme B levels within diverse biological samples obtained from rats. Granzyme B, an essential serine protease found in cytotoxic T lymphocytes and natural killer cells, plays a pivotal role in immune defense by inducing apoptosis in target cells, particularly virus-infected or transformed cells. Through its regulatory function on cell death pathways, Granzyme B contributes significantly to immune surveillance, making it a crucial player in immune responses against pathogens and cancer. This ELISA kit provides researchers with a reliable and accurate method to quantify Granzyme B levels, offering valuable insights into immune surveillance mechanisms and cytotoxic cellular activities.
By measuring Granzyme B concentrations, scientists can gain a deeper understanding of its involvement in immune modulation and target cell destruction, thereby shedding light on its implications in various health conditions. The Rat GzmB (Granzyme B) ELISA Kit from Assay Genie guarantees exceptional sensitivity and specificity, ensuring the generation of precise and reproducible results. With rigorous quality control measures in place, this kit delivers robust performance and user-friendly operation, making it an excellent choice for research endeavors focused on investigating the role of Granzyme B in immune responses in rat models.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat GzmB. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat GzmB and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat GzmB, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Rat GzmB. You can calculate the concentration of Rat GzmB in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
Precision
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): 3 samples with low, mid range and high level Rat GzmB were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, mid range and high level Rat GzmB were tested on 3 different plates, 20 replicates in each plate.
