Description
Rat GR (Glucocorticoid Receptor) ELISA Kit
The Rat GR (Glucocorticoid Receptor) ELISA Kit is a specialized assay designed for the quantitative analysis of glucocorticoid receptors in various rat biological samples. Glucocorticoid receptors are crucial transcription factors that play pivotal roles in cellular processes, including metabolism, inflammation, stress response, and immune modulation. As key regulators of gene expression, these receptors mediate the effects of glucocorticoid hormones on target cells, influencing a wide range of physiological functions. This ELISA kit provides researchers with a precise and reliable method to measure glucocorticoid receptor levels, offering valuable insights into the mechanisms of hormonal signaling, stress responses, and immune regulation.
Accurate quantification of glucocorticoid receptors is essential for understanding their involvement in numerous physiological pathways and their implications in various diseases and therapeutic interventions. With exceptional sensitivity and specificity, the Rat GR ELISA Kit from Assay Genie ensures reproducible and high-quality results. Manufactured under stringent quality control measures, this kit delivers robust performance and user-friendly protocols, making it an ideal tool for research studying glucocorticoid receptor biology and related pathways.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat GR. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat GR and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat GR, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Rat GR. You can calculate the concentration of Rat GR in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
Precision
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): 3 samples with low, mid range and high level Rat GR were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, mid range and high level Rat GR were tested on 3 different plates, 20 replicates in each plate.
