Description
Rat GRβ (Glucocorticoid Receptor Beta) ELISA Kit
The Rat GRβ (Glucocorticoid Receptor Beta) ELISA Kit is a highly specialized assay designed to quantitatively measure glucocorticoid receptor beta levels in various rat biological samples. Glucocorticoid receptor beta is a specific isoform of the glucocorticoid receptor that plays a critical role in modulating cellular responses to glucocorticoid hormones.
As a key regulator of gene transcription, GRβ is involved in diverse physiological processes such as metabolism, immune function, and stress responses. Its unique properties and functions make it an important target for research into endocrine signaling pathways and associated cellular mechanisms. This ELISA kit provides a reliable and accurate method for assessing and analyzing GRβ levels, offering valuable insights into the intricate roles of this isoform in gene regulation, stress signaling, and immune modulation. Accurate measurement of GRβ is essential for investigating its contribution to various biological pathways and its potential implications in disease states and pharmacological interventions. The Rat GRβ ELISA Kit from Assay Genie offers exceptional sensitivity and specificity, ensuring precise and reproducible results. Manufactured under strict quality control standards, this kit delivers robust performance and ease of use, making it an excellent choice for researchers studying the functions and significance of glucocorticoid receptor beta in biological processes.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat GRβ. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat GRβ and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat GRβ, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Rat GRβ. You can calculate the concentration of Rat GRβ in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
Precision
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): 3 samples with low, mid range and high level Rat GRβ were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, mid range and high level Rat GRβ were tested on 3 different plates, 20 replicates in each plate.
