Description
Rat GDF11 (Growth Differentiation Factor 11) ELISA Kit
The Rat GDF11 (Growth Differentiation Factor 11) ELISA Kit is expertly designed to facilitate the precise and quantitative measurement of GDF11 levels across a variety of biological samples collected from rats. GDF11, a member of the TGF-beta superfamily, is a critical regulator of cell growth, differentiation, and development, playing a vital role in multiple physiological processes such as embryogenesis, tissue regeneration, and organ maintenance. Its actions are particularly important in skeletal muscle and cardiovascular tissues, where GDF11 contributes to maintaining tissue homeostasis and proper functioning. This ELISA kit provides researchers with a highly sensitive and specific method to quantify GDF11 levels, offering valuable insights into the regulatory roles of this growth factor in various biological systems.
By accurately measuring GDF11 concentrations, scientists can decipher its impact on cellular differentiation, tissue growth, and potential implications in conditions related to muscle function, cardiovascular health, and aging. Our Rat GDF11 (Growth Differentiation Factor 11) ELISA Kit is manufactured according to stringent quality standards, ensuring robust and reliable performance. With exceptional sensitivity and specificity, this kit enables researchers to generate accurate and reproducible results, making it an indispensable tool for investigating the intricate functions of GDF11 in developmental processes and tissue maintenance. Its user-friendly design further enhances its utility in a wide range of research applications focused on understanding the role of GDF11 in various biological contexts.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat GDF11. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat GDF11 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat GDF11, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Rat GDF11. You can calculate the concentration of Rat GDF11 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
Precision
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): 3 samples with low, mid range and high level Rat GDF11 were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, mid range and high level Rat GDF11 were tested on 3 different plates, 20 replicates in each plate.
