Description
Rat FGF7/KGF (Fibroblast Growth Factor 7) ELISA Kit
The Rat FGF7/KGF (Fibroblast Growth Factor 7) ELISA Kit is a specialized assay designed for the quantitative measurement of Fibroblast Growth Factor 7 levels in rat biological samples.
Fibroblast Growth Factor 7, also known as Keratinocyte Growth Factor (KGF), is a member of the FGF family that plays pivotal roles in cell proliferation, migration, and tissue repair processes. As a crucial signaling molecule, FGF7 exerts its effects on various cells, particularly epithelial cells, promoting growth and regeneration. With its potent mitogenic and tissue reparative properties, FGF7 has emerged as a key factor in the regulation of epithelial cell functions, especially in maintaining skin and mucosal integrity. By activating downstream signaling pathways, FGF7 orchestrates cellular responses that are essential for tissue repair and wound healing. Its involvement in diverse physiological processes makes it a valuable target for studying developmental biology, tissue regeneration, and wound repair mechanisms. The Rat FGF7/KGF ELISA Kit offers high sensitivity and specificity, enabling accurate and reproducible quantification of FGF7 levels in biological samples. Manufactured under strict quality control standards, this ELISA kit ensures robust performance and ease of use, making it an ideal choice for researchers investigating the functions and therapeutic potentials of FGF7 in various biological contexts.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat FGF7/KGF. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat FGF7/KGF and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat FGF7/KGF, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Rat FGF7/KGF. You can calculate the concentration of Rat FGF7/KGF in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
Precision
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): 3 samples with low, mid range and high level Rat FGF7/KGF were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, mid range and high level Rat FGF7/KGF were tested on 3 different plates, 20 replicates in each plate.
