The Rat FG (Fibrinogen) ELISA Kit is specially designed for the precise measurement of fibrinogen levels in rat serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. With its high sensitivity and specificity, this kit guarantees accurate and consistent results, making it perfect for various research purposes.Fibrinogen is a key protein in the blood coagulation process, playing a crucial role in clot formation and wound healing. Abnormal fibrinogen levels are associated with various health conditions such as cardiovascular diseases, inflammation, and liver disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these diseases and developing potential treatments.
Overall, the Rat FG (Fibrinogen) ELISA Kit is a reliable tool for researchers looking to investigate fibrinogen levels in rat samples and further understanding its role in health and disease.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat FG. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat FG and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat FG, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Rat FG. You can calculate the concentration of Rat FG in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
