The Rat Collagen Type I Alpha 2 (COL1A2) ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is a reliable and accurate tool for measuring levels of COL1A2 in rat serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit is known for its high sensitivity and specificity, ensuring precise and reproducible results for various research applications.COL1A2 is a crucial component of type I collagen, the most abundant protein in the extracellular matrix of connective tissues. It plays a vital role in tissue repair, wound healing, and maintaining the structural integrity of various organs in the body.
Abnormal levels of COL1A2 have been linked to diseases such as osteogenesis imperfecta, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, and other connective tissue disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these conditions and potential therapeutic interventions. With the Rat Collagen Type I Alpha 2 (COL1A2) ELISA Kit, researchers can trust in the accuracy and reliability of their data, enabling them to advance their understanding of collagen-related diseases and develop targeted treatments for improved patient outcomes.

Intra-assay Precision:
Intra-Assay: CV <10%. 3 samples with low, middle and high level the index were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively.
Inter-assay Precision:
Inter-Assay: CV <12%. 3 samples with low, middle and high level the index were tested on 3 different plates, 8 replicates in each plate.
Stability:
The stability of ELISA kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage conditions. Note: To minimize unnecessary influences on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity and incubator temperatures should be strictly regulated. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same experimenter from the beginning to the end.
