Description
Rat CD44 (Cluster of Differentiation 44) ELISA Kit
The Rat CD44 (Cluster of Differentiation 44) ELISA Kit is a sophisticated tool meticulously designed to quantitatively detect CD44 levels in diverse rat biological samples. CD44, a multifunctional cell surface glycoprotein and a receptor for hyaluronic acid, plays pivotal roles in various cellular processes, including cell adhesion, migration, and immune responses. This kit is tailored to provide researchers with accurate measurements of CD44 expression, offering valuable insights into cell-cell interactions, immune regulation, and inflammation. Accurate quantification of CD44 is essential for unraveling its involvement in diverse physiological and pathological processes, such as cell signaling, lymphocyte activation, and cancer metastasis.
By precisely measuring CD44 levels, researchers can gain a deeper understanding of its functions in cell adhesion, migration, and inflammatory responses, thereby facilitating the exploration of its implications in health and disease. The Rat CD44 ELISA Kit from Assay Genie delivers exceptional sensitivity and specificity, ensuring dependable and reproducible results. Manufactured under rigorous quality control standards, this kit guarantees robust performance and ease of use, making it an indispensable choice for conducting research studies focused on understanding the roles of CD44 in various biological processes and diseases.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat CD44. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat CD44 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat CD44, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Rat CD44. You can calculate the concentration of Rat CD44 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
Precision
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): 3 samples with low, mid range and high level Rat CD44 were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, mid range and high level Rat CD44 were tested on 3 different plates, 20 replicates in each plate.
