The Rat Catechol-O-Methyltransferase (COMT) ELISA Kit is a highly sensitive and specific assay designed for the precise quantification of COMT levels in rat samples, including serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit provides reliable and reproducible results, making it ideal for various research applications in the field of neurobiology and pharmacology.COMT is an important enzyme involved in the metabolism of catecholamines, such as dopamine, norepinephrine, and epinephrine. Dysregulation of COMT activity has been linked to various neurological and psychiatric disorders, including Parkinson's disease, schizophrenia, and mood disorders.
Therefore, accurate measurement of COMT levels is crucial for understanding the pathophysiology of these conditions and developing novel therapeutic strategies. The Rat COMT ELISA Kit from Assay Genie offers researchers a powerful tool for investigating the role of COMT in health and disease. With its high sensitivity and specificity, this kit enables precise quantification of COMT levels, allowing for in-depth studies of COMT function and regulation. Upgrade your research with the Rat COMT ELISA Kit and unlock new insights into the complex mechanisms underlying neurological disorders.

Intra-assay Precision:
Intra-Assay: CV <10%. 3 samples with low, middle and high level the index were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively.
Inter-assay Precision:
Inter-Assay: CV <12%. 3 samples with low, middle and high level the index were tested on 3 different plates, 8 replicates in each plate.
Stability:
The stability of ELISA kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage conditions. Note: To minimize unnecessary influences on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity and incubator temperatures should be strictly regulated. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same experimenter from the beginning to the end.
