The Rat BAX (Bcl-2 Associated X Protein) ELISA Kit is a sophisticated assay crafted for the precise quantitative evaluation of BAX levels in various biological samples obtained from rats. BAX, a pivotal component of the BCL-2 protein family, is recognized for its pro-apoptotic role in modulating programmed cell death. This protein plays a crucial part in regulating the delicate balance between cell survival and apoptosis, thereby influencing cellular integrity and fate.
Aberrations in BAX expression have been associated with diverse pathological conditions, emphasizing the significance of accurately measuring BAX levels in research settings. This ELISA kit offers outstanding sensitivity and specificity, ensuring the generation of dependable and reproducible data. With its stringent quality control measures, researchers can trust in the robust performance and user-friendly nature of the Rat BAX ELISA Kit. Whether investigating apoptotic pathways or exploring therapeutic targets, this kit serves as a reliable tool for unraveling the intricate mechanisms governed by BAX and its implications in various biological processes and disease states. Trust this kit to drive your research forward and unlock valuable insights into the role of BAX in cellular physiology and pathophysiology.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat BAX. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat BAX and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat BAX, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Rat BAX. You can calculate the concentration of Rat BAX in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
