Description
Rat ANG1 (Angiopoietin 1) ELISA Kit
The Rat ANG1 (Angiopoietin 1) ELISA Kit is a specialized assay designed for the quantitative measurement of Angiopoietin 1 levels in various rat biological samples. Angiopoietin 1 is a crucial growth factor involved in angiogenesis, the process of new blood vessel formation, and regulation of vascular permeability. It plays a significant role in maintaining vascular integrity and promoting blood vessel stability, making it a key factor in various physiological and pathological processes.
This ELISA kit provides a reliable and accurate method to assess Angiopoietin 1 levels, enabling researchers to investigate its role in angiogenesis, vascular development, and disease pathogenesis. With exceptional sensitivity and specificity, this assay ensures precise and reproducible results. Manufactured under strict quality control standards, the Rat ANG1 ELISA Kit by Assay Genie offers robust performance, making it a valuable tool for angiogenesis research and vascular biology studies.

Application: | This ELISA kit applies to the in vitro quantitative determination of Rat ANG1 concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. |
This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat ANG1. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat ANG1 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat ANG1, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Rat ANG1. You can calculate the concentration of Rat ANG1 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
Precision
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): 3 samples with low, mid range and high level Rat ANG1 were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, mid range and high level Rat ANG1 were tested on 3 different plates, 20 replicates in each plate.
