The Rat ADH (Antidiuretic Hormone) ELISA Kit is a specialized assay designed to quantitatively measure the levels of Antidiuretic Hormone in various biological samples. Antidiuretic Hormone, also known as vasopressin, plays a crucial role in regulating water balance, blood pressure, and concentration of urine.
Accurate measurement of Antidiuretic Hormone is essential for understanding its physiological functions and its role in various conditions related to water balance and renal function. The Rat ADH ELISA Kit provides exceptional sensitivity and specificity for precise and reliable results. Manufactured under stringent quality control standards, this kit ensures robust performance and ease of use, making it an invaluable tool for researchers studying hormone regulation and related mechanisms.

This ELISA kit uses the Competitive-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with ADH. During the reaction, ADH in the sample or standard competes with a fixed amount of ADH on the solid phase supporter for sites on the Biotinylated Detection Ab specific to ADH. Excess conjugate and unbound sample or standard are washed away, and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added to each micro plate well and incubated. Then a TMB substrate solution is added to each well. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns from blue to yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The concentration of ADH in tested samples can be calculated by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
