The RASD1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB15451) is a valuable tool for researchers studying RASD1, a protein involved in signal transduction and cell proliferation processes. This antibody, raised in rabbits, has high specificity for human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications, making it ideal for detecting and analyzing RASD1 expression in various cell types.RASD1, also known as Ras-related dexamethasone-induced protein 1, is a small GTPase that plays a role in mediating cellular responses to hormones and stress signals. Its dysregulation has been linked to various diseases, including cancer, diabetes, and cardiovascular disorders.
By studying the expression and activity of RASD1, researchers can gain insights into the underlying mechanisms of these diseases and potentially identify novel therapeutic targets.Using the RASD1 Polyclonal Antibody in your research endeavors can help advance our understanding of RASD1 function and its potential implications in disease pathology. Its high reactivity and specificity make it a reliable tool for investigating the role of RASD1 in cellular signaling pathways and disease progression.

This gene encodes a member of the Ras superfamily of small GTPases and is induced by dexamethasone. The encoded protein is an activator of G-protein signaling and acts as a direct nucleotide exchange factor for Gi-Go proteins. This protein interacts with the neuronal nitric oxide adaptor protein CAPON, and a nuclear adaptor protein FE65, which interacts with the Alzheimer's disease amyloid precursor protein. This gene may play a role in dexamethasone-induced alterations in cell morphology, growth and cell-extracellular matrix interactions. Epigenetic inactivation of this gene is closely correlated with resistance to dexamethasone in multiple myeloma cells. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
