Description
RAC2 Monoclonal Antibody [PAT2G11] (CPAB0449)
The RAC2 Polyclonal Antibody (CPAB0449) is designed for research involving the RAC2 protein, a member of the Rho family of small GTPases involved in cell signaling and cytoskeletal reorganization. The antibody, raised in rabbits, is highly reactive with human samples and is validated for use in various applications, including Western blotting and immunofluorescence.RAC2 plays a crucial role in regulating processes such as cell migration, phagocytosis, and superoxide production, making it a key player in immune response and inflammation. Dysregulation of RAC2 has been implicated in a variety of diseases, including cancer, inflammatory disorders, and immune deficiencies.
Studying the function of RAC2 using this antibody can provide valuable insights into the mechanisms underlying these diseases and potential targets for therapeutic intervention.Overall, the RAC2 Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for researchers interested in exploring the role of RAC2 in immune regulation, cell signaling, and disease pathogenesis. Its high specificity and sensitivity make it ideal for diverse experimental approaches, contributing to a better understanding of the complex processes in which RAC2 is involved.

Background: | RAC2 is a small signaling G protein/GTPase which is part of the RAS superfamily of small GTP-binding proteins which regulate cell growth, actin cytoskeletal organization, cell proliferation, survival, cell cycle progression, gene transcription rgulation and the activation of protein kinases. RAC2 cycles between an active gtp-bound and inactive gdp-bound state. In active state, RAC2 binds to a variety of effector proteins to regulate cellular responses, such as secretory processes, phagocytose of apoptotic cells and epithelial cell polarization. RAC2 is involved in the regulation of the nadph oxidase. |
