The Rabbit MMP-1 (Matrix Metalloproteinase 1) ELISA Kit is a cutting-edge assay meticulously crafted for the quantitative analysis of MMP-1 levels in diverse biological samples collected from rabbits. MMP-1, a member of the matrix metalloproteinase family, plays a critical role in extracellular matrix remodeling, tissue repair, and cellular migration processes. Accurate quantification of MMP-1 is vital for understanding the role of this enzyme in tissue homeostasis, inflammation, wound healing, and various pathological conditions.
The Rabbit MMP-1 ELISA Kit empowers researchers to explore the intricate mechanisms underlying matrix degradation and remodeling in rabbit models. With exceptional sensitivity and specificity, this ELISA kit ensures precise and reproducible results. Manufactured under stringent quality control standards, this kit provides robust performance and user-friendly protocols, making it an excellent choice for comprehensive research endeavors focused on elucidating the functions and implications of MMP-1 in rabbits.
This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rabbit MMP-1. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rabbit MMP-1 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rabbit MMP-1, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Rabbit MMP-1. You can calculate the concentration of Rabbit MMP-1 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
