**** The Rabbit INS (Insulin) ELISA Kit is a specialized assay meticulously crafted for the quantitative determination of insulin levels in a variety of rabbit biological samples. Insulin, a critical hormone produced by the pancreas, is paramount in regulating metabolism, glucose uptake, and energy homeostasis, making precise measurement of insulin levels essential for evaluating carbohydrate metabolism and overall health status in rabbits. Accurate quantification of insulin concentrations facilitates enhanced comprehension of glucose regulation, insulin resistance, and diabetic conditions in rabbits.
This ELISA kit delivers exceptional sensitivity and specificity, ensuring accurate and reproducible results for insulin quantitation. Manufactified under stringent quality control standards, the kit guarantees robust performance, making it an indispensable tool for research and diagnostic applications focusing on rabbit insulin levels.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rabbit INS. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rabbit INS and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rabbit INS, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Rabbit INS. You can calculate the concentration of Rabbit INS in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
