The QuickStep Rat PG (Progestrone) ELISA Kit is specifically designed for the precise measurement of progestrone levels in rat samples including serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. With its high sensitivity and specificity, this kit provides accurate and reproducible results, making it suitable for various research applications.Progestrone is a key hormone in the reproductive system, playing a vital role in the menstrual cycle, pregnancy, and other physiological processes. Imbalances in progestrone levels can contribute to various reproductive disorders and complications, highlighting the importance of monitoring and understanding its levels in biological samples.
Whether studying reproductive health, endocrine disorders, or drug development, the QuickStep Rat PG ELISA Kit offers a reliable tool for researchers to investigate progestrone levels in rat samples effectively. Trust in this kit for consistent and precise results in your progestrone research studies.

Both intra-CV and inter-CV are < 10%.
Storage & Stability:
An unopened kit can be stored at 2-8°C for 6 months. After test, the unused wells and reagents should be stored according to the storage table in the manual.
This ELISA kit uses the Competitive-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with Rat Pg. Samples (or Standards) and Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) linked antibody specific for Rat Pg are added to the micro ELISA plate wells. Rat Pg in samples (or standards) competes with a fixed amount of Rat Pg on the solid phase supporter for sites on the HRP linked detection antibody specific to Rat Pg. Excess conjugate and unbound sample or standard are washed from the plate. The substrate solution is added to each well. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 ± 2 nm. The concentration of Rat Pg in the samples is then determined by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
