The QuickStep Canine PG (Progesterone) ELISA Kit is specifically designed for the precise measurement of progesterone levels in canine serum, plasma, and other biological samples. With its high sensitivity and specificity, this kit provides dependable and consistent results, making it an invaluable tool for researchers and veterinarians working in the field of canine reproduction.Progesterone is a hormone essential for the regulation of the estrous cycle in female dogs, as well as for maintaining pregnancy. Monitoring progesterone levels is critical for determining the optimal time for breeding, confirming ovulation, and predicting whelping dates.
This kit allows for easy and accurate quantification of progesterone, aiding in the management of breeding programs and ensuring the health and well-being of canine patients.Whether studying reproductive physiology, breeding management, or assessing hormonal imbalances in dogs, the QuickStep Canine PG ELISA Kit offers a reliable and convenient solution for measuring progesterone levels in canine samples. Trust in this kit for accurate results and valuable insights into canine reproductive health.

Both intra-CV and inter-CV are < 10%.
Storage & Stability:
An unopened kit can be stored at 2-8°C for 6 months. After test, the unused wells and reagents should be stored according to the storage table in the manual.
This ELISA kit uses the Competitive-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with Canine Pg. Samples (or Standards) and Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) linked antibody specific for Canine Pg are added to the micro ELISA plate wells. Canine Pg in samples (or standards) competes with a fixed amount of Canine Pg on the solid phase supporter for sites on the HRP linked detection antibody specific to Canine Pg. Excess conjugate and unbound sample or standard are washed from the plate. The substrate solution is added to each well. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 ± 2 nm. The concentration of Canine Pg in the samples is then determined by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
