The QuickStep Canine E2 (Estradiol) ELISA Kit is specially designed for the quantitative detection of estradiol levels in canine serum or plasma samples. This kit offers high sensitivity and specificity, providing accurate and reproducible results for researchers studying reproductive health in dogs.Estradiol, a type of estrogen, plays a vital role in the regulation of the estrous cycle, fertility, and overall reproductive health in female dogs. Abnormal estradiol levels can indicate underlying reproductive issues or diseases, making it a crucial biomarker for veterinarians and researchers working in the field of canine reproduction.
By using the QuickStep Canine E2 ELISA Kit, researchers can gain valuable insights into the hormonal balance and reproductive health of dogs, leading to a better understanding of canine reproduction and potential treatment options for reproductive disorders. With its user-friendly format and reliable performance, this kit is an essential tool for any study involving canine estradiol levels.

This ELISA kit uses the Competitive-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with Bovine Cortisol. Samples (or Standards) and Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) linked antibody specific for Bovine Cortisol are added to the micro ELISA plate wells. Bovine Cortisol in samples (or standards) competes with a fixed amount of Bovine Cortisol on the solid phase supporter for sites on the HRP linked detection antibody specific to Bovine Cortisol. Excess conjugate and unbound sample or standard are washed from the plate. The substrate solution is added to each well. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 ± 2 nm. The concentration of Bovine Cortisol in the samples is then determined by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
