The QuickStep Bovine E2 (Estradiol) ELISA Kit is specifically designed for the accurate and precise measurement of estradiol levels in bovine serum, plasma, and tissue homogenates. This kit offers exceptional sensitivity and specificity, ensuring reliable and reproducible results for various research applications.Estradiol is a key hormone in the estrous cycle of cattle, regulating important reproductive processes such as follicle development, ovulation, and pregnancy maintenance. Monitoring estradiol levels is essential for understanding the reproductive health and fertility of cows, as well as optimizing breeding and reproduction strategies in livestock management.
With the QuickStep Bovine E2 ELISA Kit, researchers can study the hormonal profiles of bovine subjects, identify potential fertility issues, and monitor the effectiveness of hormonal treatments and interventions. This kit provides a valuable tool for advancing research in animal science, veterinary medicine, and livestock breeding practices.

It is recommended to do the experiment with undiluted Bovine serum, plasma samples.
Reproducibility:
Both intra-CV and inter-CV are < 10%.
Storage & Stability:
An unopened kit can be stored at 2-8°C for 6 months. After test, the unused wells and reagents should be stored according to the storage table in the manual.
This ELISA kit uses the Competitive-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with Bovine E2. Samples (or Standards) and Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) linked antibody specific for Bovine E2 are added to the micro ELISA plate wells. Bovine E2 in samples (or standards) competes with a fixed amount of Bovine E2 on the solid phase supporter for sites on the HRP linked detection antibody specific to Bovine E2. Excess conjugate and unbound sample or standard are washed from the plate. The substrate solution is added to each well. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 ± 2 nm. The concentration of Bovine E2 in the samples is then determined by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
