The Purified Anti-Mouse CD90 Antibody (M5/49.4.1) is a vital tool for researchers studying CD90, a cell surface marker involved in various biological processes. This monoclonal antibody, specifically designed for use in mouse samples, is highly specific and sensitive, making it ideal for applications such as flow cytometry, immunofluorescence, and immunohistochemistry.CD90, also known as Thy-1, is a glycoprotein that plays a key role in cell-cell interactions, cell adhesion, and signal transduction. Its expression has been associated with stem cell populations, immune responses, and cancer progression.
The Purified Anti-Mouse CD90 Antibody (M5/49.4.1) binds to CD90 with high affinity, allowing for accurate detection and analysis of CD90-expressing cells in various tissues and cell types.By studying the expression and function of CD90, researchers can gain valuable insights into immune regulation, stem cell biology, and disease mechanisms. This antibody offers researchers a reliable tool to advance their understanding of CD90 biology and its implications in health and disease.

Background:
The M5/49.4.1 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse Thy1 also known as CD90. Thy1 is a 25-35 kDa GPI-anchored protein belonging to the Ig superfamily that is expressed by thymocytes, peripheral T cells, myoblasts, epidermal cells, and keratinocytes. The function of Thy1 has not been fully elucidated but is thought to play roles in regulation of cell adhesion, apoptosis, metastasis, inflammation, and fibrosis. This antibody is particularly useful for depletion of T lymphocytes.
