The PTPN6 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB1446) is a valuable tool for researchers studying PTPN6, a protein tyrosine phosphatase known to play a crucial role in immune regulation. Raised in rabbits, this antibody is highly specific to human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. PTPN6, also known as SHP-1, is a key player in immune signaling pathways, regulating immune cell activation and functions. Dysregulation of PTPN6 has been linked to various autoimmune disorders, leukemia, and lymphoma, making it an attractive target for therapeutic interventions.By binding specifically to the PTPN6 protein, this antibody enables researchers to detect and analyze PTPN6 expression in different cell types, providing valuable insights into its role in immune response modulation.
This antibody is an essential tool for studies in immunology, cancer research, and autoimmune diseases, helping to further our understanding of PTPN6 biology and its potential implications in disease pathology. Overall, the PTPN6 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB1446) is a reliable reagent for researchers looking to investigate the functions and regulatory mechanisms of PTPN6, paving the way for the development of novel therapies targeting this critical immune signaling molecule.

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family. PTPs are known to be signaling molecules that regulate a variety of cellular processes including cell growth, differentiation, mitotic cycle, and oncogenic transformation. N-terminal part of this PTP contains two tandem Src homolog (SH2) domains, which act as protein phospho-tyrosine binding domains, and mediate the interaction of this PTP with its substrates. This PTP is expressed primarily in hematopoietic cells, and functions as an important regulator of multiple signaling pathways in hematopoietic cells. This PTP has been shown to interact with, and dephosphorylate a wide spectrum of phospho-proteins involved in hematopoietic cell signaling. Multiple alternatively spliced variants of this gene, which encode distinct isoforms, have been reported.
