The PSPH Polyclonal Antibody (CAB7924) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the PSPH protein, an essential enzyme involved in the serine biosynthesis pathway. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications.PSPH plays a crucial role in cellular metabolism, specifically in the regulation of serine levels which are essential for cell proliferation and survival. Dysregulation of PSPH has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer and metabolic disorders. By targeting the PSPH protein, researchers can gain insights into the role of serine metabolism in disease progression and potentially identify new therapeutic targets.
The PSPH Polyclonal Antibody offers researchers a reliable tool for detecting and analyzing PSPH expression in various cell types, making it ideal for studies in cancer biology, metabolism, and drug discovery. Its ability to specifically bind to PSPH enables precise and accurate detection of this key enzyme, facilitating further research into its functions and potential implications in disease mechanisms.

Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-225 of human PSPH (NP_004568.2).
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to a subfamily of the phosphotransferases. This encoded enzyme is responsible for the third and last step in L-serine formation. It catalyzes magnesium-dependent hydrolysis of L-phosphoserine and is also involved in an exchange reaction between L-serine and L-phosphoserine. Deficiency of this protein is thought to be linked to Williams syndrome.
