The PSMD3 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB2790) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the PSMD3 protein, a subunit of the 26S proteasome complex essential for protein degradation in cells. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high specificity for human samples and is validated for use in Western blotting applications. By targeting the PSMD3 protein, this antibody enables the detection and analysis of PSMD3 expression levels in various cell types, making it an ideal choice for investigations in the fields of cell biology and cancer research.PSMD3 plays a crucial role in maintaining cellular homeostasis by regulating the turnover of proteins involved in key cellular processes. Dysregulation of the proteasome complex, including PSMD3, is associated with various diseases, such as cancer and neurodegenerative disorders.
Research into the function of PSMD3 can provide valuable insights into disease mechanisms and facilitate the development of targeted therapies aimed at modulating protein degradation pathways.By using the PSMD3 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB2790), researchers can explore the role of PSMD3 in cellular processes and disease pathogenesis, ultimately advancing our understanding of protein degradation mechanisms and their implications for human health. This antibody is a reliable tool for studies aiming to unravel the complexities of the proteasome system and its relevance to disease biology.

The 26S proteasome is a multicatalytic proteinase complex with a highly ordered structure composed of 2 complexes, a 20S core and a 19S regulator. The 20S core is composed of 4 rings of 28 non-identical subunits; 2 rings are composed of 7 alpha subunits and 2 rings are composed of 7 beta subunits. The 19S regulator is composed of a base, which contains 6 ATPase subunits and 2 non-ATPase subunits, and a lid, which contains up to 10 non-ATPase subunits. Proteasomes are distributed throughout eukaryotic cells at a high concentration and cleave peptides in an ATP/ubiquitin-dependent process in a non-lysosomal pathway. This gene encodes a member of the proteasome subunit S3 family that functions as one of the non-ATPase subunits of the 19S regulator lid. Single nucleotide polymorphisms in this gene are associated with neutrophil count.
