The PRKD3 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB7084) is a valuable tool for research involving PRKD3, a protein kinase implicated in various cellular processes including cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By specifically binding to the PRKD3 protein, this antibody enables accurate detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it an excellent choice for studies in cell biology and cancer research.PRKD3, also known as protein kinase D3, is a critical regulator of signaling pathways that control cell growth and survival.
Its involvement in cancer progression and resistance to therapy highlights its potential as a therapeutic target for cancer treatment. Research into the function and regulation of PRKD3 is essential for developing novel strategies to combat cancer and other diseases related to abnormal cell growth and survival. The PRKD3 Polyclonal Antibody offers researchers a reliable tool for investigating the role of PRKD3 in cellular processes and disease development, ultimately contributing to advances in the understanding and treatment of cancer and other related disorders.

This gene belongs to the multigene protein kinase D family of serine/threonine kinases, which bind diacylglycerol and phorbol esters. Members of this family are characterized by an N-terminal regulatory domain comprised of a tandem repeat of cysteine-rich zinc-finger motifs and a pleckstrin domain. The C-terminal region contains the catalytic domain and is distantly related to calcium-regulated kinases. Catalytic activity of this enzyme promotes its nuclear localization. This protein has been implicated in a variety of functions including negative regulation of human airway epithelial barrier formation, growth regulation of breast and prostate cancer cells, and vesicle trafficking.
