Start with your target and species, then check that the antibody is validated for your application — western blot, IHC, IF, flow cytometry or ELISA. Validated applications, reactivity and recommended dilutions are listed on each product page.
Monoclonal antibodies recognise a single epitope and give high lot-to-lot consistency; polyclonal antibodies recognise several epitopes, which can boost signal for low-abundance targets. Both are available across the range.
A knockout-validated antibody has been tested in cells where the target gene is knocked out: losing the signal in the knockout confirms the antibody binds its intended target.
Directly conjugated antibodies (PE, APC, FITC, GenieFluor, HRP, biotin and more) remove the secondary-antibody step and are standard for flow cytometry and multiplex staining. Unconjugated antibodies give flexibility to choose your own detection.
