Description
PPIF Monoclonal Antibody [PAT1F5AT] (CPAB0147)
The PPIF Polyclonal Antibody (CPAB0147) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the protein PPIF, also known as cyclophilin F, which plays a crucial role in mitochondrial function and cell death regulation. This antibody, produced in rabbits, has high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications.PPIF is a key regulator of the mitochondrial permeability transition pore (MPTP), which controls the flow of molecules in and out of the mitochondria and is involved in various cellular processes, including apoptosis and necrosis. Dysregulation of PPIF has been implicated in several diseases, making it a promising target for therapeutic interventions.
By using the PPIF Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can detect and analyze PPIF expression in different cell types, providing valuable insights into mitochondrial function and cell death pathways. This antibody is an essential tool for studies in mitochondrial biology, cell death mechanisms, and potential therapeutic strategies for diseases associated with mitochondrial dysfunction. Unlock the potential of your research with the PPIF Polyclonal Antibody.

Background: | PPIF is a part of the peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase (PPIase) family. PPIF accelerates the folding of proteins. It catalyzes the cis-trans isomerization of proline imidic peptide bonds in oligopeptides. PPIF is key component of the mitochondrial permeability transition pore in the inner mitochondrial membrane. Activation of this pore is thought to be involved in the induction of apoptotic and necrotic cell death. |
