Description
PPARG Monoclonal Antibody [PAT4F5AT] (CPAB0277)
The PPARG Polyclonal Antibody (CPAB0277) is a valuable tool for researching PPARG, a key transcription factor involved in regulation of various cellular processes, including metabolism and inflammation. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for Western blot applications.PPARG, also known as peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma, is a critical player in lipid metabolism and adipocyte differentiation, making it a target of interest in metabolic disorders such as obesity and diabetes.
It also has anti-inflammatory properties, making it a target for research in inflammatory diseases.By utilizing the PPARG Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can detect and analyze PPARG protein levels in different cell types, providing insights into its role in various physiological and pathological conditions. This antibody is a valuable tool for studies in metabolic disorders, inflammation, and other research areas where PPARG is a key player.

Background: | Peroxisome proliferators are non-genotoxic carcinogens which are purported to exert their effect on cells through their interaction with members of the nuclear hormone receptor family termed peroxisome proliferators activated receptors (PPARs). Nuclear hormone receptors are ligand-dependent intracellular proteins that stimulate transcription of specific genes by binding to specific DNA sequences following activation by the appropriate ligand. Studies indicate that PPARs are activated by peroxisome proliferators such as clofibric acid, nafenopin, and WY-14,643, as well as by some fatty acids. |
