Porcine sIgA (Secretory Immunoglobulin A) ELISA Kit
The Porcine sIgA (Secretory Immunoglobulin A) ELISA Kit is a specialized assay designed for the quantitative detection of secretory immunoglobulin A levels in porcine biological samples.
Secretory immunoglobulin A (sIgA) is a predominant mucosal antibody isotype that plays a crucial role in mucosal immunity, acting as the first line of defense against pathogens at mucosal surfaces. This ELISA kit enables precise measurement of sIgA concentrations in porcine samples, providing valuable insights into mucosal immune responses in swine models. sIgA antibodies contribute to immune exclusion, agglutination, neutralization of toxins and pathogens, and maintenance of mucosal homeostasis, making them essential components of mucosal immunity. With exceptional sensitivity and specificity, the Porcine sIgA ELISA Kit delivers reliable and reproducible results, allowing researchers to study mucosal immune responses, host-pathogen interactions, and mucosal vaccine development in porcine models. Manufactured under stringent quality control standards, this kit offers robust performance and ease of use, making it an excellent choice for research applications in porcine immunology and infectious disease studies.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Porcine sIgA. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Porcine sIgA and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Porcine sIgA, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Porcine sIgA. You can calculate the concentration of Porcine sIgA in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
