The Porcine PF4 (Platelet Factor 4) ELISA Kit is a state-of-the-art assay specifically designed for the precise quantification of PF4 levels in porcine biological samples. PF4, a key player in platelet activation and coagulation, exerts regulatory functions in various biological processes, including hemostasis, thrombosis, and inflammation. This chemokine-like protein is known for its involvement in regulating platelet functions, vascular homeostasis, and inflammatory responses. With the Porcine PF4 ELISA Kit, researchers can accurately measure PF4 levels in porcine samples, enabling detailed investigations into the roles of this crucial factor in platelet biology, coagulation pathways, and inflammatory cascades.
By quantifying PF4 expression levels, researchers can decipher its contributions to hemostasis, thrombotic events, and inflammatory responses in porcine models. This ELISA kit offers exceptional sensitivity and specificity, guaranteeing precise and reproducible results. Manufactured under stringent quality assurance guidelines, the Porcine PF4 ELISA Kit ensures robust performance and straightforward protocols, making it an excellent choice for porcine research in the fields of hemostasis, thrombosis, and inflammation.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Porcine PF4. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Porcine PF4 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Porcine PF4, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Porcine PF4. You can calculate the concentration of Porcine PF4 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
