The Porcine MYO (Myoglobin) ELISA Kit is meticulously engineered to enable accurate and quantitative measurement of Myoglobin levels within various biological samples sourced from porcine models. Myoglobin, a vital biomolecule predominantly expressed in striated muscles, plays a key role in oxygen storage and transport, particularly in myocytes. Elevations in Myoglobin levels serve as a significant marker for muscle injury and damage, making it a crucial analyte in studying muscle pathophysiology, monitoring exercise-induced stress, and assessing muscle health in porcine models. With a commitment to precision and reproducibility, the Porcine MYO ELISA Kit by Assay Genie boasts exceptional sensitivity and specificity, ensuring reliable results for researchers exploring muscle-related aspects in porcine biology.
Manufactured under rigorous quality control standards, this ELISA kit exhibits robust performance capabilities, making it an efficient and user-friendly tool for researchers studying muscle function, injury, and therapeutic strategies in porcine models. Its reliable and reproducible outcomes make it an ideal choice for investigations requiring accurate quantification of Myoglobin levels in porcine biological samples.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Porcine MYO. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Porcine MYO and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Porcine MYO, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Porcine MYO. You can calculate the concentration of Porcine MYO in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
