The Porcine INS (Insulin) ELISA Kit is a specialized assay designed for the precise quantitative determination of Insulin levels in porcine biological samples. Insulin, a pivotal hormone produced by the pancreas, plays a critical role in regulating blood glucose levels and facilitating cellular glucose uptake in pigs.
Monitoring Insulin concentrations aids in assessing metabolic balance, glucose metabolism, and pancreatic function in porcine physiology. This ELISA kit provides a reliable and accurate method for quantifying Insulin levels, enabling researchers to investigate glucose homeostasis, insulin sensitivity, and metabolic health in porcine models. By measuring Insulin concentrations in porcine samples, researchers can explore insulin secretion, pancreatic health, and metabolic disturbances related to diabetes and metabolic disorders in pigs. With exceptional sensitivity and specificity, the Porcine INS ELISA Kit ensures precise and reproducible results, making it a valuable tool for studies focused on porcine metabolic regulation and endocrine function. Manufactured under strict quality control standards, this kit offers robust performance and user-friendly protocols, facilitating comprehensive research into porcine metabolism and endocrine physiology.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Porcine INS. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Porcine INS and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Porcine INS, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Porcine INS. You can calculate the concentration of Porcine INS in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
