The Porcine IgM (Immunoglobulin M) ELISA Kit is a state-of-the-art assay designed for the precise quantitative measurement of Immunoglobulin M (IgM) levels in porcine samples. IgM is a key component of the immune system and is primarily responsible for the early response to infections and antigens.
As a primary antibody class, IgM plays a vital role in neutralizing pathogens and activating immune responses. This ELISA kit enables researchers to accurately quantify IgM levels in porcine biological samples, providing valuable insights into the immune status and response of pigs to various pathogens, vaccines, and antigens. By measuring IgM concentrations, researchers can assess the early humoral immune response in pigs and monitor changes in antibody levels over time. With exceptional sensitivity and specificity, the Porcine IgM ELISA Kit delivers reliable and reproducible results, facilitating detailed investigations into the porcine immune response and antibody production. Manufactured under strict quality control standards, this kit offers robust performance and user-friendly protocols, making it a valuable tool for porcine immunology research and infectious disease studies in pigs.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Porcine IgM. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Porcine IgM and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Porcine IgM, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Porcine IgM. You can calculate the concentration of Porcine IgM in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
