The Porcine IgG (Immunoglobulin G) ELISA Kit is a specialized assay designed for the precise and quantitative detection of IgG levels in porcine biological samples. Immunoglobulin G, a crucial component of the humoral immune response, plays a fundamental role in host defense mechanisms against pathogens and foreign antigens. As the most abundant antibody isotype in circulation, IgG mediates various immune functions, including pathogen neutralization, opsonization, and immune complex formation. This ELISA kit is designed to accurately quantify IgG concentrations in porcine samples, providing valuable insights into the humoral immune response in swine models.
By measuring IgG levels, researchers can assess the antibody-mediated immune response, monitor immune status, and investigate the role of IgG in host defense and infection control in porcine studies. The Porcine IgG ELISA Kit offers exceptional sensitivity and specificity, enabling reliable and reproducible results. Manufactured under stringent quality control standards, this kit ensures robust performance and ease of use, making it an ideal tool for investigating immune responses, immunity, and infectious diseases in pigs.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Porcine IgG. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Porcine IgG and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Porcine IgG, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Porcine IgG. You can calculate the concentration of Porcine IgG in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
