The Porcine bFGF/FGF2 (Basic Fibroblast Growth Factor) ELISA Kit is a specialized assay designed for the precise quantitative measurement of basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF or FGF2) levels in porcine biological samples. Basic fibroblast growth factor is a crucial signaling protein involved in various cellular processes, including cell growth, proliferation, and differentiation, and it plays a significant role in tissue repair, wound healing, and angiogenesis.
This ELISA kit provides a reliable and sensitive method for detecting and quantifying bFGF/FGF2 in porcine samples, allowing researchers to investigate the role of this growth factor in porcine physiology and pathology. bFGF/FGF2 is known to stimulate the proliferation of multiple cell types and is essential for tissue regeneration and development in pigs. With exceptional sensitivity and specificity, the Porcine bFGF/FGF2 ELISA Kit offers accurate and reproducible results, enabling researchers to study the intricate mechanisms of growth factor signaling in porcine models. Manufactured under stringent quality control standards, this kit ensures reliable performance and ease of use, making it an ideal tool for research in porcine growth and development studies.
This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Porcine bFGF/FGF2. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Porcine bFGF/FGF2 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Porcine bFGF/FGF2, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Porcine bFGF/FGF2. You can calculate the concentration of Porcine bFGF/FGF2 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
